MB Wins Gold at 2009 Ottawa Chamber Business Achievement Awards

 

November 30, 2009 - Marketing Breakthroughs was recognized as the Professional Services Firm of the Year at the 16th Annual Ottawa Business Achievement Awards, held at the Hampton Conference Centre on Thursday November 26, 2009. Over 700 people attended the gala, which MC Catherine Clark referred to as "the Academy Awards for Business" during her opening remarks.
 
This is the first time MB has been nominated for this award, and MB staff were thrilled to be honoured by the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce and its four member judging panel, led by Michael Boehm, a partner at Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP. "Our team has worked tirelessly these past months to transform MB into Ottawa's 'go-to' marketing company for mid-sized, owner-managed companies," said Steve Klein, MB's CEO. "We are very thankful to Erin Kelly and her Chamber Staff for staging such a phenomenal event."
 
MB finished ahead of 7 other very deserving high-profile finalists in the Professional Services Category, including law firm Perley Robertson, Hill & McDougall LLP (the Silver Medalist), Sunbelt Business Brokers, emA Architects (the Bronze Medalist), The Paul Rushforth Team and McConnell HR Consulting Inc.
